Base Salary
$190k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive threat modeling and product security architecture reviews.
- Integrate security automation into CI/CD pipelines using SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management tools.
- Architect and implement secure cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Design and deploy encryption services and key management systems across distributed environments.
- Oversee operational security initiatives including bug bounty programs and incident response workflows.
- Secure AI-integrated applications by establishing validation protocols and guardrails.
- Engineer defenses against sophisticated adversaries and nation-state-level threats.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in engineering and scaling security programs for startups.
- Proven background in securing FinTech, Web3, and digital asset platforms.
- Strong proficiency in distributed systems, microservices, and programming languages like Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with container security, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure hardening.
- Knowledge of technical controls for SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance.
- Expertise in securing AI/ML lifecycles and MLOps frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
