Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Develop medium- to large-sized Java applications using Core Java, multithreading, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build or contribute to front-end functionality using ReactJS, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Implement secure coding, unit testing, and integration testing practices.
- Contribute to deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, API integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
- Manage risk, follow applicable policies and controls, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Guide team members or serve as a technical advisor, depending on leadership or individual-contributor responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience developing medium- to large-sized Java applications with Core Java, multithreading, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Basic knowledge of deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and a cloud platform such as AWS.
- Basic experience with ReactJS, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or React Testing Library.
- Experience using GitLab, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, and Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with Python-based development is valued.
- Knowledge of large language models and agentic AI patterns, including tool use, RAG, prompt engineering, memory management, and guardrails, is desirable.
- Experience with cloud environments, AWS Bedrock, Claude Code or similar AI tools, containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code is desirable.
- Understanding of API integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures is desirable.
- Experience building systems in trading, banking, or financial organizations is desirable.
