Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications.
- Drive architectural governance activities and seek platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer delivery with organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and provide architectural direction to engineering teams.
- Guide technical conversations, foster communication, and help teams reach successful outcomes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
- Translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Significant experience in architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and implementation or enhancement of software systems.
- Significant experience in analytical system engineering design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure or multi-cloud environments.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of software development experience is also stated in the additional qualifications.
