Responsibilities
- Build application service layers and user interfaces supporting Warner Bros. Discovery’s content supply chain.
- Design and develop complete systems and create architectural diagrams for implementation.
- Explain and defend design and code decisions while incorporating constructive feedback.
- Provide code reviews and improve engineering practices, documentation, and architecture.
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing source code, logs, operational metrics, and stack traces, then resolve the underlying problems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience as a full-stack software developer.
- Experience with event-driven architecture or asynchronous messaging services.
- Experience developing single-page applications with a modern user-interface framework.
- High proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Angular 8 or higher, with technical leadership experience.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience working with AI tools.
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile team.
- Proven experience designing and building applications for media workflows, media catalogs, and asset registries.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and software engineering skills.
