Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software build, test, binary management, secret management, and test management solutions.
- Develop services using SaaS, cloud-based environments, and large-scale clustered compute.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to implement virtualization and cloud solutions.
- Own technical deliveries from requirements through planning, implementation, and delivery.
- Provide production support and participate in a paid on-call rota for high-impact incident response.
- Improve developer experience, engineering productivity, and self-service access to infrastructure and systems.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of professional experience in DevOps.
- Demonstrable experience in software development and build systems.
- Strong experience with at least one of Python, Groovy, Java, Golang, C, or C++.
- Experience with Cloudbees CI or Jenkins Pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Experience building, provisioning, and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure.
- Experience with at least one cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; AWS is preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Preferred experience in platform engineering focused on developer experience, efficiency, automation, and self-service infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with microservice software development and AI-assisted tools or techniques for engineering productivity.
