Responsibilities
- Develop software build and test solutions involving CI, binary, secret, and test management.
- Develop services using SaaS, cloud-based environments, and large-scale clustered compute.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to implement virtualization and cloud solutions.
- Build, provision, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure.
- Own technical deliveries from requirements and planning through implementation and delivery.
- Provide production support and participate in the paid on-call rota for high-impact incident response.
- Improve developer experience, engineering efficiency, and self-service access to infrastructure and systems.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of working experience in DevOps.
- Demonstrable experience in software development and build.
- Strong experience with at least one of Python, Groovy, Java, Golang, C, or C++.
- Experience with Cloudbees CI or Jenkins Pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Experience building, provisioning, and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure.
- Experience with at least one cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; AWS is preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Preferred experience in a platform engineering environment focused on developer experience, efficiency, automation, and self-service infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with microservice software development.
- Preferred experience using AI-assisted tools or techniques to improve engineering efficiency and developer workflows.
