Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Python, and Cucumber.
- Define and execute automation strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Lead UAT activities, product evaluations, production rollouts, and software quality assurance testing.
- Create and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, quality standards, procedures, traceability records, and quality metrics.
- Integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize containerized testing environments using Docker and OpenShift.
- Oversee functional, performance, and resilience testing for critical trading systems, including the Lightspeed platform.
- Conduct process monitoring, audits, risk identification, corrective-action tracking, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, business, and technology teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on automation, quality engineering, and process improvement.
- Evaluate industry trends and AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and test effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in an IT Quality role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
- Deep hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks, scenarios, and scripts.
- Strong expertise with Docker and OpenShift container orchestration.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Experience with financial services and trading systems, including development in fast-paced, time-to-market-driven environments.
- Experience writing complex queries and using reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, solution architecture capabilities, and demonstrated execution and leadership skills.
- Project management experience is preferred.

- Primary location full-time salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00.
