Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex Java applications and systems as part of software development teams.
- Analyze, design, and continuously optimize software solutions in collaboration with product management.
- Contribute across the full software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Support customers and integration teams with new requirements, incidents, and service requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure stable and high-performance software integration.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and AI-based code reviews.
- Apply modern development tools and methods for structured project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable field.
- At least five years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large Java applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Groovy, and common Java frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with relational database systems and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Knowledge of Apache PDFBox and Eclipse RCP/OSGi is preferred.
- Routine use of AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and AI-based code reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer- and product-oriented mindset.
- Independent, solution-oriented working style and a high level of ownership.
- Very good German and English skills at least at C1 level.
