Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for escalated issues related to the Databricks Data Intelligence platform.
  • Engage with customers to understand their technical issues and provide actionable solutions.
  • Lead the resolution of high-priority incidents and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to drive platform improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation on support procedures and known issues.
  • Monitor platform performance metrics and implement optimizations.
  • Manage the deployment of platform upgrades and patches.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role related to Databricks or big data technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Databricks architecture and Apache Spark, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong capabilities in designing and managing data pipelines and distributed computing.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information.
  • Proven experience in managing high-impact customer interactions and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are preferred.
