Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of automation platforms to orchestrate workflows across business units.
- Design and optimize critical communication infrastructure to ensure high availability for internal and transactional messaging.
- Drive the technical strategy for AI adoption within engineering workflows.
- Develop governance frameworks for the safe and effective use of AI coding assistants.
- Define and enforce usage standards for developer tools, ensuring consistency across squads.
- Conduct 'Discovery Design' for new internal products to ensure inclusivity and scalability.
- Act as a technical reference for the domain, influencing architectural decisions and mentoring senior engineers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Clojure, Java, or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services like SES, Lambda, and IAM.
- Experience with workflow automation tools and API integration.
- Interest or experience in integrating LLMs/AI agents into developer workflows.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to balance efficiency with security in system design.
- Comfortable debugging complex infrastructure issues and writing strategic policy documents.
- Enjoy documenting work and creating resources for other engineers.
