Responsibilities
- Onboard, train, enable, and certify partner technical resources
- Participate in joint business planning and review sessions with Datadog and partner technical teams
- Support partner demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, assessments, advice, and coaching
- Advocate for partner technical concerns, use cases, feature requests, and support issues with internal Datadog teams
- Analyze partner service offerings and recommend ways to improve Datadog feature adoption and service value
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities
- Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and customer success
Requirements
- Solid technical grounding with hands-on IT development and/or operations experience
- Typically 10–15 years of experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role
- Strong business acumen and ability to articulate Datadog value from the server room to the boardroom
- Confident presentation skills
- Hands-on experience in at least two desired areas: observability, public cloud, containerization, development or scripting, configuration management, and CI/CD
- Previous experience working for or supporting channel partners is a bonus
- Previous experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools is a bonus
- Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, or debugging is a bonus
