Solutions Architect - Lakebase

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across an assigned territory.
- Act as a trusted Solutions Architect and product champion who builds technical credibility and drives Lakebase adoption.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing workshops, presentations, demonstrations, collateral, and thought leadership.
- Co-plan territories with Account Executives and coordinate cross-functional efforts across GTM and R&D teams.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering roadmaps.
- Serve as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, including a record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data integrations with broader big data, lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration experience with disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and system migrations.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
