Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into resilient Elasticsearch architectures.
- Lead technical strategy and design for customer engagements.
- Design and operationalize advanced semantic search architectures.
- Profile and optimize distributed search and indexing performance.
- Architect robust distributed ingestion strategies for high throughput.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to influence the Elasticsearch roadmap.
- Capture and publish best practices and reference architectures.
- Mentor senior engineers and drive a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Principal Architect or Lead Engineer focused on Elasticsearch.
- Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems theory as it applies to Elasticsearch.
- Proven track record of deploying production-grade semantic search solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of orchestrating Elasticsearch workloads across cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills for executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Comfortable working across global teams and traveling for client engagements.
