Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality mobile location infrastructure.
- Solve platform problems related to background execution and battery optimization.
- Apply internationalization best practices for diverse markets.
- Collaborate with AI tools to enhance development workflows.
- Define and codify AI-Native engineering practices.
- Build across the full stack as needed.
- Work closely with product managers and designers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
- Mentor team members and contribute to team processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building consumer-scale mobile applications.
- At least 1 year of experience with LLMs.
- Strong proficiency in mobile development (iOS and/or Android).
- Experience with web and backend technologies like Java and AWS is valued.
- Ability to reason about on-device decisions affecting backend systems.
- Deep understanding of mobile platform constraints.
- Experience with agentic workflows and prompt engineering.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Empathy for users and their needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
