Responsibilities
- Organize and provide input in FS/TP reviews.
- Translate marketing and product requirements into test scenarios and define system test scenarios.
- Maintain current test plans and test case documentation.
- Perform functional, performance, stress, and other testing methodologies.
- Investigate bugs, isolate root causes, document reproduction steps, and provide appropriate logs and files.
- Participate in bug scrubs with development and product management teams.
- Provide input on customer support escalations and technical presentations.
- Provide guidance and occasional mentoring to junior QA team members and supervise other QA engineers when needed.
Requirements
- Understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, performance, and stress testing.
- Good knowledge of software development life cycle practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of networking protocols and devices.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
