Responsibilities

  • Organize and provide input in FS/TP reviews.
  • Translate marketing and product requirements into test scenarios and define system test scenarios.
  • Maintain current test plans and test case documentation.
  • Perform functional, performance, stress, and other testing methodologies.
  • Investigate bugs, isolate root causes, document reproduction steps, and provide appropriate logs and files.
  • Participate in bug scrubs with development and product management teams.
  • Provide input on customer support escalations and technical presentations.
  • Provide guidance and occasional mentoring to junior QA team members and supervise other QA engineers when needed.

Requirements

  • Understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, performance, and stress testing.
  • Good knowledge of software development life cycle practices.
  • Experience with scripting and automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols and devices.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
