Base Salary
$217k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and manage Money systems and services that commercialize Databricks products and offerings.
- Develop primitives supporting Pay-As-You-Go, commissions, credits, trials, promotions, and other pricing strategies.
- Improve engineering and infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, and response times through testing, data quality assurance, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with commercialization experts to develop and implement pricing strategies and plans.
- Use AI and LLMs for cost insight, prediction, and optimization across cloud providers.
- Develop long-term product vision and requirements with engineering teams and represent Databricks at academic and industrial conferences and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience building large projects involving near-real-time large-data processing and distributed service infrastructure management.
- Proven experience building, shipping, and managing reliable distributed services and data pipelines at scale.
- Demonstrated leadership across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Proactive approach and passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
