Responsibilities
- Apply data science and machine learning processes to solve mission challenges.
- Develop and iterate rapid prototype solutions using open-source models and technologies.
- Support applications including object detection, data triage, search and optimization, image and video analysis, facial recognition, behavior detection, and automated discovery.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models in production systems with scalable and reliable software practices.
- Deploy models into multi-node Ray clusters using various GPU resources.
- Communicate technical concepts and deliver actionable results to non-technical leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage project requirements, timelines, cloud resources, and computational resources efficiently.
- Perform ETL-related work and collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Existing TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates will not be nominated for new clearances.
- At least five years of experience in a data science or engineering role.
- Experience developing and using agentic AI frameworks, including Autogen.
- Experience with prompt engineering for tasks such as data labeling and processing.
- Experience with asynchronous Python development using Ray and FastAPI.
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models as part of production systems.
- Experience applying advanced machine learning methods including clustering, regression, optimization, recommender engines, and artificial neural networks.
- Experience deploying models to multi-node Ray clusters with GPU resources.
- Experience developing and deploying resources to cloud environments.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments and managing resources efficiently.
- Demonstrated ETL expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Experience in the U.S. Intelligence Community preferred.
