Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of core systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to integrate and deliver features.
- Drive technical innovation and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate creative concepts into reliable software solutions with designers and producers.
- Debug complex issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to code quality.
- Communicate progress with technical leadership, production, and the wider team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably within game development.
- Strong professional-level C++ software development experience.
- Experience debugging complex bugs through multiple techniques.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Ability to understand and modify existing or unfamiliar code quickly.
- Experience communicating and collaborating across multiple disciplines.
- Experience working on PC and either PlayStation or Xbox.
Benefits
- British Columbia base salary range of $122,300-$170,700 CAD, depending on location.
- Three weeks of vacation per year to start and 10 days of sick time per year for Canada-based employees.
