Responsibilities
- Design and build highly scalable, robust, fault-tolerant distributed computing solutions and web services.
- Drive technical direction, long-term architecture, roadmaps, and major deliverables for the engineering team.
- Own the overall development life cycle and manage complex projects with significant business impact.
- Partner with product managers and senior engineers on strategy, product capabilities, and technical designs.
- Establish software development and documentation best practices and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Prioritize and plan projects and features, manage stakeholders, and track external commitments.
- Monitor and operate production services as part of operational excellence.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language is required.
- Experience with distributed systems, web services design and implementation, and high-availability production systems is described for the role.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
