Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and apply feedback to meet engineering standards and compliance procedures.
- Ensure product development follows security, compliance, and software reliability practices.
- Contribute to technology transformation, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize and size tasks for incremental delivery and communicate blockers or delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five to seven years of relevant experience.
- Five or more years of experience with Pega Infinity 8.x or later and supporting frameworks such as CPM and Collections.
- Pega Certified System Architect or higher certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, object-oriented programming in Java or .NET, and application server administration and tuning.
- Experience with Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, JMS, Tibco middleware, REST, and GraphQL.
- Database connectivity experience, preferably with IBM UDB 10.x or later and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS telephony integrations including IVR, screen-pop, chat, and softphone capabilities.
- Experience developing and integrating complex software solutions in financial services; credit card and collections experience is a plus.
- Pega Customer Decision Hub experience is preferred.
- Exposure to Kafka, streaming integrations, cloud-native deployments, AWS, Azure, PegaCloud, Pega Deployment Manager, containerized deployments, and Ansible scripting is preferred.
