Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust server-side components using Java and Hibernate.
- Optimize Hibernate mappings, queries, caching, and persistence-layer performance.
- Develop clean, modular, maintainable, and testable Java code.
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with product, engineering, QA, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex Java and Hibernate defects through root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and peer guidance.
- Create and maintain architecture, data model, and integration documentation.
- Define test scenarios, automate key flows, and validate application components with QA teams.
- Support deployment activities, application monitoring, and stable rollouts in collaboration with operations.
- Evaluate Java frameworks and Hibernate enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Six to nine years of professional experience designing and developing Java applications in complex enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of Hibernate mapping strategies, caching mechanisms, and transaction management.
- Strong object-oriented programming and core Java skills, including collections, concurrency, and exception handling.
- Practical experience with relational databases and structured query design.
- Experience with version control, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of secure Java coding practices and responsible handling of sensitive data.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams in hybrid and day-shift environments.
- Adaptability to learn and apply new Java frameworks, tools, and architectural approaches.
