Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications and microservices.
- Develop RESTful APIs, SOAP services, event-driven messaging systems, and third-party integrations.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and SOLID design patterns while writing maintainable code.
- Optimize application performance, throughput, latency, and memory utilization.
- Participate in architecture discussions, system design reviews, and peer code reviews.
- Integrate backend services with relational and NoSQL databases, enterprise systems, message brokers, and microservice ecosystems.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests and address bugs, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline design and optimization, containerized deployments, Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration, and application observability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional Java software development experience for the mid-level profile or 5+ years for the senior-level profile.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Core Java concepts, including multithreading, concurrency, collections, generics, and the Stream API.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework technologies, databases, ORM tools, microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging platforms, Maven or Gradle, and Git.
- Experience with automated testing, API security, system integration, performance optimization, and software engineering quality practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, OWASP Top 10, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Jira, Confluence, Project Reactor, RxJava, Spring WebFlux, Angular, Java, and Python.
