Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support secure Java-based enterprise integration solutions using REST and SOAP web services, APIs, and database connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, interface, data-processing, service, and production issues.
- Apply secure software-development practices and remediate vulnerabilities identified through application security testing.
- Manage certificates, credentials, passwords, authentication, and authorization requirements.
- Maintain and enhance automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Support releases, deployment validation, production issue resolution, and testing of application changes.
- Automate development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, interfaces, and deployment processes.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot for coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, security remediation, documentation, and productivity improvements.
Requirements
- 9+ years of overall experience.
- Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java and Spring Framework.
- Experience with web services, APIs, and relational database integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and production issues.
- Experience with source control, automated build and deployment pipelines, and modern software-development lifecycle practices.
- Knowledge of secure software development, application vulnerability identification, security testing, and remediation.
- Experience with digital certificates, credentials, authentication, authorization, and password management.
- Experience developing and executing unit, integration, regression, and interface tests.
- Strong technical documentation, analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with complex business-critical applications, cloud migration, application security, automated deployment pipelines, and Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
