Base Salary
$156k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales discovery meetings, customer technology and architecture analysis, platform demonstrations, and technical Proof of Value engagements.
- Work with Sales from initial discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
- Translate customer business challenges into technical Tanium solutions and lead deep-dive technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical expert throughout sales engagements and align pre-sales and Proof of Value activities with strategic account goals.
- Partner with field engineering teams to maximize technical effectiveness and provide a consistent customer experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
- Participate in regional marketing events and conferences and provide customer-facing Sales and Channel enablement, including training.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve customer-lifecycle effectiveness and efficiency.
- Travel approximately 40–60% to meet customers and prospects in person.
Requirements
- 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
- 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions.
- Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments.
- Experience presenting to audiences ranging from C-suite stakeholders to solution users.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives and successful outcomes.
- Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, compliance, and related products.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in endpoint security, IT operations management, or regulatory compliance.
- Broad knowledge of scripting languages is preferred.
- Strong critical-thinking, written communication, verbal communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
