Base Salary
$90k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design engineering platforms and tooling for building, deploying, and operating applications.
- Develop automation for common development and operational tasks.
- Monitor system performance and availability and remediate issues.
- Collaborate with software and data engineering teams on operationally sustainable solutions.
- Operate and integrate cloud infrastructure and AWS services.
- Improve system reliability through actionable monitoring and observability frameworks.
- Support compliance audits such as PCI, SOC2, and SOX.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Site Reliability, DevOps, or related operational roles.
- Experience with GitOps-based deployments and Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar systems.
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar observability technologies.
- Experience designing and operating applications in AWS, GCP, Azure, or another public cloud environment.
- Expertise with AWS services including RDS, EKS, and CloudWatch.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, and Linux systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering education preferred.
- 10+ years of operational experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of Software Engineering or equivalent software architecture experience preferred.
- Experience preparing for and executing PCI, SOC2, SOX, or other compliance audits preferred.
