Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C++ and Rust.
- Write software that interacts with microcontrollers.
- Design and develop secure software for critical satellite functions.
- Design, integrate, and improve low-level software, including device drivers and Linux kernel modules.
- Port existing software to new embedded systems and perform other low-level programming activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
- Participate in software development from requirements through implementation, testing, integration, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.
