Responsibilities
- Partner with customers, implementation teams, and stakeholders to define integration requirements.
- Design and deliver end-to-end SaaS integration solutions and technical architectures.
- Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, integration documentation, and technical dependency plans.
- Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend services using microservices architecture.
- Build REST APIs and event-driven integrations with enterprise applications, third-party systems, and cloud services.
- Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and participate in code and technical design reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues while supporting production reliability, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and distributed customer and delivery teams.
- Contribute to Agile sprint planning, implementation-methodology improvements, documentation, and onboarding experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise integrations, or SaaS implementation.
- Experience delivering at least one end-to-end SaaS implementation project.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST API development, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience designing scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Understanding of data integration concepts, API-led and event-driven architectures, network protocols, enterprise integration patterns, integration-stack security concepts, and high-availability and clustering configurations.
- Experience working in Agile environments and conducting technical design and code reviews.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and technical-writing skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.
- Preferred experience in SaaS product organizations, globally distributed teams, banking and financial services, enterprise software platforms, or large-scale IT environments.
- Preferred exposure to Azure Cloud services, with AWS or GCP knowledge as an advantage.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Kafka Brokers setup and configuration, Kafka Connect Framework, HTTP Connectors, REST Connectors, JMS Connectors, and architecture/modeling tools.
