Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, delivery, and implementation of complex large-scale systems and features.
  • Architect and develop robust, scalable, maintainable end-to-end services across web, mobile, backend, and multiple platforms.
  • Apply software engineering practices covering design, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, and operations.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability using data-driven methods and monitoring tools.
  • Define technical strategies and contribute to long-term roadmaps, including emerging AI technology integrations.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and other cross-functional partners to solve customer problems.
  • Lead conversations with senior leadership and uphold high engineering standards.
  • Participate in hiring, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing across the engineering organization.
  • Obtain and maintain AWS certifications.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
