Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, mathematical analysis, digital signal processing, communication systems, and software engineering concepts to develop embedded software.
- Develop real-time embedded software and firmware for advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a master's degree or have completed a master's degree within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, or digital arts and sciences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance is preferred.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect at the Associate or Professional level, or a similar certification for another cloud provider, is preferred.
