Responsibilities

  • Design and develop autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents using modern agent frameworks.
  • Build scalable backend microservices, asynchronous workers, and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Design and maintain relational and non-relational database schemas, queries, and storage layers for AI workflows.
  • Integrate Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, internal data lakes, enterprise applications, APIs, databases, ERP, CRM, procurement, and workflow platforms.
  • Use Azure Cloud and AI services to support model serving, storage, and retrieval.
  • Develop multi-agent systems, LLM workflows, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and knowledge management systems.
  • Create tools, plugins, and function-calling capabilities for agents.
  • Implement prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, memory management, and agent orchestration strategies.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize agent performance, accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
  • Document architecture, deployment procedures, and technical designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including hands-on experience building asynchronous services with FastAPI.
  • Database expertise covering data modeling, indexing, and query optimization across relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Blob Storage.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions, Large Language Models, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience with code-first AI agent and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or LangChain.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
  • Experience with Docker and deploying applications to OpenShift or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: enterprise AI solution development, procurement or supply chain knowledge, AI governance, Responsible AI, model evaluation frameworks, cloud certifications, and knowledge of Next.js or ReactJS.
