Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex C# and .NET software applications.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot enterprise web applications and automated test scripts.
- Provide production software troubleshooting, bug fixes, requirements, design documentation, source code, and executables.
- Support project quoting, reviews, stakeholder communication, and technical risk mitigation.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other Software Engineers on software design best practices.
- Use version control systems to maintain code history and collaborate with IT on projects.
- Install, configure, and manage servers, operating systems, RAID arrays, IIS, database backups, audits, user accounts, security, and system logs.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of and demonstrated ability across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience with TCP/IP networking and database design, administration, and development.
- Experience developing complex Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Experience developing scripts with JabilTest, LabVIEW, LabWindows, Tcl, Perl, Python, or UNIX shell.
- Experience developing Windows applications with C# and .NET.
- Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with third-party APIs, reusable technologies, software versioning, and revision control systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, motivation to learn, and a collaborative team attitude.
- Experience installing, configuring, and managing servers, databases, user accounts, security controls, and system logs.
