Base Salary
$126k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery across multiple environments.
- Develop automated deployment processes and Git-based workflows, including branching strategies and repository management.
- Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes application environments and maintain Helm charts and deployment configurations.
- Maintain software delivery toolchains supporting development, testing, security scanning, deployment, and operational monitoring.
- Coordinate deployments across development, integration, test, and operational environments with varying security requirements.
- Integrate security controls, scanning, compliance requirements, vulnerability remediation, and software supply chain practices into delivery pipelines.
- Support release packaging, deployment validation, rollback strategies, and operational readiness activities.
- Investigate and resolve pipeline, deployment, infrastructure, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with software developers, AI engineers, systems engineers, cyber teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Support secure, survivable MILSATCOM and other space and ground communications mission capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience supporting DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, release engineering, or software delivery activities.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience developing Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations and administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
- Understanding of software deployment lifecycles across multiple environments and security domains.
- Experience with containerized applications, cloud-native architectures, delivery automation, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration.
- Strong scripting or automation experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes DoD or space-system programs, restricted or classified environments, secure software delivery, artifact repositories, Kubernetes security, infrastructure as code, MLOps, and CI/CD platforms.
- Preferred certifications include Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, Security+, CISSP, GitLab, cloud platform certifications, or INCOSE CSEP/ESEP.
