Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead release management and deployment of microservices in Kubernetes environments using AWS EKS and Azure AKS.
- Design and implement vulnerability management, security monitoring, compliance controls, and incident-response automation.
- Work with developers on secure coding practices and application security testing.
- Automate software-engineering practices and establish foundational DevOps processes across multiple projects.
- Stand up agile development teams and oversee DevOps pipeline instantiation in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and deploy applications using Helm and ArgoCD.
- Design and manage secure cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Implement observability solutions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on evolving requirements and architecture patterns.
- Lead or support technical working groups, risk and requirements-gap analysis, briefings, action tracking, and meeting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of DevOps software development and infrastructure-design experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage secure AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, container-image scanning, and dependency-vulnerability management.
- Understanding of Zero Trust and secure software supply-chain principles.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Experience deploying applications with Helm and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, or comparable infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Experience implementing observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, or comparable platforms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving, research, prioritization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred: active Secret or higher clearance; a master’s degree; experience with CI/CD on classified software-development networks; an active cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CISSP, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist; and INCOSE certification such as CSEP or ESEP.
