Responsibilities
- Build web experiences for bill payments and international money transfers across local payment methods.
- Simplify sending-money flows by removing unnecessary steps, repetitive input, and confusing choices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research to understand customer problems, test ideas, and determine what to build.
- Own features through technical decisions, launch, impact measurement, and production reliability.
- Develop performant, accessible interfaces with thoughtful interactions and clear error recovery.
- Share and improve engineering practices across the team and wider web community.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and explaining customer-facing web products at scale.
- Strong JavaScript and browser fundamentals with production experience using React or a similar framework.
- Experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong UX attention to detail and initiative in improving interactions.
- Ability to make long-term technical decisions and write clear, testable, maintainable code.
- Product-oriented approach using customer feedback and data to guide decisions.
- Ownership, clear communication of trade-offs, independent execution, and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with server-side rendering and backend development is a bonus.
- Willingness to use AI as a productivity and thinking partner while remaining accountable for shipped work.
