Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and triage applications in production and non-production environments.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across low-latency, active/active cloud infrastructure.
- Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation systems.
- Plan and design new infrastructure and contribute to deployment architecture for core functionality.
- Troubleshoot large-scale environments, including load balancers, networking, and database performance.
- Design and build AI-powered DevOps automation, including LLM-powered runbooks, autonomous remediation agents, anomaly detection pipelines, and AI-assisted code or infrastructure review tools.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience operating and supporting applications across Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking concepts including TLS/SSL, DNS, and load balancers, and troubleshooting in large-scale environments.
- Exposure to AI-assisted or AI-infused automation in DevOps workflows.
- Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle and MongoDB, including managing high-transaction-rate databases and knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and replication.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
- Preferred: 8 years of infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering experience and a record of independently owning complex systems or initiatives.
- Preferred: experience architecting and operating multi-region, high-availability infrastructure across Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and GCP, including cloud cost, resilience, and scaling strategy.
- Preferred: experience designing reusable IaC modules and adopting organizational Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm standards.
- Preferred: experience building AI-powered DevOps automation with demonstrated team adoption.
