Responsibilities
- Define and execute quality strategies and test plans aligned with product roadmaps and release cycles.
- Build and maintain cross-service end-to-end API and UI automation suites.
- Integrate automated tests into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design automation approaches that provide high confidence in production releases.
- Perform targeted manual testing for new features and bug fixes.
- Partner with software engineers, product managers, and platform teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience automating browser-based enterprise applications with modern frameworks such as Playwright.
- Experience with automated API testing and validating complex cross-service workflows.
- Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to operate as the sole QA engineer with full ownership of quality practices.
- Practical experience with TypeScript and shared automation codebases is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, particularly AWS, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
- Interest or experience testing AI-enabled products or ML-powered systems, including using AI to automate tests, is preferred.
