Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing diagnostics software for platforms and peripherals.
- Develop and support applications, databases, diagnostics, scripts, firmware, drivers, and BIOS utilities.
- Develop, test, integrate, sustain, and maintain software.
- Prepare software and storage specifications from architectural diagrams and technical documents.
- Create and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation.
- Develop, review, and implement test strategies for products and systems.
- Analyze quality metrics, prepare trend reports, improve processes, and coordinate status discussions with global factories.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++.
- Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture, Intel ME, RAID, uEFI, firmware, and BIOS.
- Ability to code and debug sophisticated programs from written or verbal design specifications.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
- 5 to 8 years of related experience is desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree is desirable.
