Base Salary

$210k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to embed security into development workflows.
  • Design and implement Sigma Cloud Security across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
  • Conduct cloud threat modeling and manage cloud incident response.
  • Build IAM and privileged access strategies, enforcing best practices.
  • Drive cloud data security controls including classification and encryption.
  • Develop automated remediation workflows for cloud misconfigurations.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native security services.
  • Apply zero-trust principles through network defense strategies.
  • Automate detection and response workflows for cloud security.
  • Leverage AI to enhance security practices and team efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years in security roles with 5+ years focused on cloud security engineering.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Deep technical expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP architectures.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code skills, particularly in Terraform.
  • Advanced understanding of container security and CI/CD pipeline design.
  • Proven incident response experience related to cloud-based threats.
  • Expertise in cloud IAM, including federation and least privilege design.
  • Strong background in cloud network security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and security tooling.
  • Knowledge of security platforms such as CNAPP and WAF.
  • Ability to lead cloud architecture reviews and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience securing data platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS organizations is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Platform Engineering or DevSecOps is a plus.
  • Professional-level cloud certifications are preferred.
