Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test DSP algorithms for audio, speech, voice, and microphone-array applications.
- Contribute to active noise reduction, voice pickup, spatial audio, and speech-enhancement technologies.
- Integrate and validate signal-processing algorithms on embedded, real-time systems.
- Adapt and tune algorithms for different hardware, software, and performance constraints.
- Use acoustic measurements, laboratory equipment, and debugging tools to investigate and improve performance.
- Evaluate third-party technologies and collaborate with engineering, systems, software, and product-management teams to support partner delivery and future platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on signal processing.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in DSP, audio, or embedded-systems development.
- Solid foundation in digital signal processing applied to audio or speech.
- Hands-on experience developing algorithms for embedded or real-time systems.
- Programming experience with C, Python, and MATLAB for developing, analyzing, and testing signal-processing algorithms.
- Preferred experience includes acoustics and acoustic measurements, microphones and audio transducers, embedded debugging, audio laboratory equipment, fixed-point arithmetic, DSP optimization, third-party algorithms and libraries, applied machine learning, Bluetooth audio systems, and adapting algorithms across platforms.
- A master’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
