Responsibilities
- Design and develop Appian applications for business process automation and workflow management.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Appian solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on Appian feasibility, architecture, integrations, and implementation.
- Lead development activities and mentor junior developers through guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Integrate Appian with external systems, enterprise applications, and surrounding platforms.
- Configure and support Appian environments in cloud and on-premises setups.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and go-live support.
- Apply Appian best practices and improve delivery quality within the team.
- Work in Agile/Scrum project environments.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
- Proven experience delivering Appian implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Appian architecture, integrations, and platform capabilities.
- Experience coordinating development work or mentoring junior team members.
- Experience with Appian cloud and/or on-premises setup and configuration.
- Appian Senior Designer and/or Lead Appian Designer certification.
- Solid understanding of Scrum or Agile delivery methods.
- Fluent German and English communication skills, with German at minimum C1 level.
- Java development knowledge is an advantage.
- Structured, proactive, and client-oriented approach to work.
