Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Architect and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Define and enforce standards for containerization, infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes operations.
- Improve observability through logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Manage and mentor DevOps engineers while ensuring technical growth and delivery consistency.
- Maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and automation scripts for multi-environment deployments.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud and containerized-environment issues.
- Support high-availability, multi-region clusters, incident response, and GitOps operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- At least 4 years of hands-on production-grade Kubernetes experience, including EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed clusters.
- Deep knowledge of Docker, Helm, Kubernetes controllers, CRDs, networking, and RBAC.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure as code tools.
- Expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Istio or Linkerd and Kubernetes security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, independent-work, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include CKA or CKAD certification, Azure-related certifications, high-availability and multi-region cluster experience, monitoring and incident response experience, and Argo CD or Flux experience.
