Base Salary
$100k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own API integrations across bare metal provisioning, network fabric, virtualization, cloud, storage, and CMDB systems.
- Build end-to-end automation pipelines for server provisioning, network configuration, storage attachment, and scheduler registration.
- Develop event-driven workflows, self-service APIs and CLIs, and internal developer portal integrations.
- Implement policy-as-code enforcement and contribute to an evolvable CMDB data model representing infrastructure relationships and topology.
- Integrate heterogeneous systems through vendor APIs, abstraction layers, and managed API lifecycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of software development experience focused on infrastructure automation, systems integration, or platform engineering.
- Production-quality Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise or open-source CMDB platforms, including data modeling, API integration, and legacy-source migration.
- Deep RESTful API design experience, including resource modeling, versioning, pagination, error handling, and OpenAPI or Swagger documentation.
- Experience designing relational database schemas for complex, evolving domains, including normalization, indexing, and migrations.
- Working knowledge of at least two infrastructure domains: bare metal provisioning, network configuration, storage systems, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience integrating heterogeneous systems through APIs and building abstraction layers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, organizational skills, and ability to work across teams.
- Experience with the Atlassian stack and Git.
- Preferred: network automation, Kubernetes, Knative, Helm, Rust, financial-services infrastructure, security automation, micro-segmentation, Terraform, or Ansible experience.
