Responsibilities
- Serve as lead security architect for AI, agentic AI, cloud, SaaS, and emerging technology initiatives.
- Review solution designs, identify security requirements and architectural risks, and conduct threat modeling and security design reviews.
- Create solution, data-flow, trust-boundary, and reference architecture diagrams, security patterns, design standards, and control requirements.
- Define security patterns and implementation guidance for AI agents, digital coworkers, RAG architectures, MCP integrations, AI identities, delegated authorization, model access, governance, and observability.
- Build reusable AI security reference architectures, architectural decision records, standards, and guardrails.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and technical working groups while influencing decisions across engineering, architecture, security, technology, and business teams.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, architectures, frameworks, and third-party solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience designing and reviewing complex enterprise technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, authentication and authorization, cloud security, application security, network security, API security, data protection, logging and monitoring, and secrets management.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams and technical design documentation.
- Experience facilitating architecture reviews and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, agentic AI architectures, RAG, MCP, AI gateways, AI observability, model governance, agent identity, delegated authorization, prompt security, and AI threat modeling.
- Preferred: experience developing enterprise standards, architecture patterns, or reference architectures; experience in regulated financial services; and relevant cloud, security, or architecture certifications.
