Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable customer identity applications, APIs, and services.
- Build authentication, registration, identity verification, authorization, and fraud-prevention capabilities supporting millions of customer interactions.
- Lead implementation of passkeys, passwordless authentication, adaptive authentication, registration modernization, and emerging digital identity initiatives.
- Design highly available, resilient, observable, and scalable services aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Translate business requirements into secure technical solutions and evaluate emerging identity technologies.
- Own customer identity products across design, deployment, production support, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Information Security, Fraud, Privacy, Digital Experience, and Enterprise Technology teams.
- Lead technical design and architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and establish reusable engineering patterns and best practices.
- Support Agile planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Advanced software engineering experience designing and building secure full-stack applications and enterprise APIs.
- Experience with software architecture, data movement, integration patterns, system design, and complex production issue resolution.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containers, and cloud-native development.
- Experience building highly available and observable services using monitoring and logging capabilities.
- Experience with Customer Identity & Access Management, Okta or similar identity platforms, identity verification, and authentication modernization.
- Knowledge of Passkeys, FIDO2/WebAuthn, passwordless authentication, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, multi-factor authentication, identity federation, and fraud-prevention technologies.
- Ability to influence technical direction, balance strategic initiatives with production support, and lead engineering best practices.
