Responsibilities
- Lead backend engineering efforts, including code quality, architecture, and delivery of Java/J2EE and Spring Framework microservices.
- Design and maintain scalable, high-availability systems using AWS services, Cloudflare, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Own the architectural integrity, performance, cloud infrastructure, and edge routing of the backend ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across application, database, network, and integration layers on AWS.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, clean, and high-performance technical solutions.
- Champion and coach the development team in the use of Gemini, Copilot, and Claude for AI-assisted development.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, mentorship, and instruction to users.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise software application development.
- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise software application development and enterprise cloud platforms, including AWS services, Cloudflare, and containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting AWS platform issues across application, database, network, and integration layers.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and content management system best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies, applications, and solutions.
