Base Salary
$135k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Hunt for and close security vulnerabilities in Counterpart Assistant.
- Harden systems, services, and endpoints around the platform.
- Safeguard PHI and monitor deidentification practices.
- Utilize AI to enhance vulnerability discovery and establish guardrails.
- Review critical pull requests and conduct security training for engineers.
- Collaborate with site reliability engineering and corporate security teams.
- Strengthen disaster recovery and resilience strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in application security.
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities using custom tooling.
- Experience using AI for continuous vulnerability discovery.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages across the stack.
- Ability to balance security needs with operational requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers in secure coding practices.
- Passion for software that impacts patient care.
