Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies.
- Build and evolve scalable cloud-native SaaS applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Integrate Azure PaaS services including Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, amCharts, and AG-Grid.
- Write unit and integration tests, perform static code analysis, and conduct load testing with tools such as JMeter and Lighthouse.
- Ensure application security, performance, reusability, standardization, and adherence to design patterns and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead development and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors in Scrum or Kanban environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of backend development experience, with full-stack experience preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST API development, databases, and cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure PaaS services including Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Strong knowledge of component-based architecture, security, performance optimization, design patterns, multithreading, visual modeling, and software testing.
- Proficiency in unit, integration-level, and automated testing, including JUnit and Jest.
- Preferred frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, functional programming, amCharts, AG-Grid, Nx, and developer productivity tools.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AI agents in the software development lifecycle, regulated medical software development, CI/CD pipelines, static code analyzers, JMeter, and Lighthouse is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
