Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions across multiple teams and products.
- Lead complex technical initiatives and own ambiguous problems spanning multiple systems or teams.
- Establish coding standards, review processes, quality metrics, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior, mid-level, and senior engineers and create technical learning pathways.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, product management, design, executives, and external stakeholders.
- Research and champion technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that improve organizational efficiency.
- Lead technical hiring decisions, roadmap planning, architecture reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and improve engineering productivity and developer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with demonstrated progression in technical leadership roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Extensive experience with Azure or AWS, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design, optimization, and management.
- Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and DevOps practices.
- Strong background in API design, security implementations, systems integration, performance optimization, scalability planning, and system monitoring.
- Track record of leading technical projects from conception through delivery.
- Preferred experience includes fintech or regulated industries, data engineering, analytics, machine learning implementations, event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, security frameworks, compliance standards, legacy modernization, technical writing, agile methodologies, team leadership, and business strategy alignment.
