Responsibilities
- Own the high-level technical roadmap for the Chennai site.
- Lead the transition of core engines into modern, distributed ecosystems.
- Drive site-wide quality through rigorous design reviews.
- Design and implement AI-integrated workflows to enhance engineering velocity.
- Mentor Staff and Principal-level ICs in complex system trade-offs.
- Partner with the VP of Engineering to identify technical risks.
- Facilitate technical councils to ensure architectural consistency.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction without direct authority.
- Expert-level knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native patterns.
- Experience with AI/ML integration in development lifecycles.
- Ability to drive consensus among senior stakeholders.
