Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve emergent problems while preventing recurrence through automation.
- Write software using full-stack Java and web technologies.
- Utilize object-oriented and functional programming approaches for feature implementation.
- Contribute to team feature breakdowns and design new implementations.
- Manage product availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for code refactoring and performance optimizations.
- Communicate technical designs effectively to small to medium-sized audiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building enterprise-grade software applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on complex system issues.
- Experience with CI/CD in cloud environments like AWS and Jenkins.
- Ability to work with high-performance, real-time, distributed data systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; MS preferred.
- Demonstrable understanding of systems, algorithms, and OO design.
- Experience in feature breakdowns and design implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to quality.
