Responsibilities
- Upgrade Kubernetes clusters to supported versions across all environments.
- Upgrade Teleport and validate EC2 access before and after cutover.
- Upgrade Redis and PostgreSQL across relevant environments.
- Ensure reliable DB access through bastion EC2 instances.
- Sync Karpenter configuration across clusters for cost optimization.
- Correct Kubernetes internal IP ranges from public to private.
- Implement NewRelic agent upgrade strategy on Kubernetes.
- Deprecate unused AWS resources and related artifacts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure in production environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes operations and upgrades.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Familiarity with Teleport or similar zero-trust access tooling.
- Experience upgrading PostgreSQL and Redis in AWS.
- Exposure to NewRelic or similar APM/observability platforms.
- Comfort working across mixed IaC codebases.
